The product does have a smell to it, it is not terrible but I would not say it smells good either. The smell goes away after 20 minutes or so when used lightly (very lightly).As for the serum. The product description images show it very clear and transparent and mine is actually not like that. It is not nearly as clear and transparent and has a milky look to it.It has retinol and glycolic acid in it. The only place it really says it has glycolic acid in it is on the bottle. It does not really say what that does for the skin. Which I think is an unwise choice on their part. Glycolic acid is a chemical exfoliant. Using it WITH retinol can increase irritation. I have not experience any increase irritation with this but I am also not using this on my face or hands which are my most sensitive skin areas. I do not put new products on my face until I 100% know my other skin is fine with it. I have very sensitive and reactive skin so I have been going low and slow with this because I know it has glycolic acid AND retinol in it. So far no harm, no irritation.

Gentle serum, that was easy to place on my skin and to tap in lightly. It absorbs well, and it didn't irritate my sensitive skin. It left my skin feeling soft and bright.

i like adding retinol to my skin routine. It helps with skin cell turnover and prevents wrinkles. This one is gentle and not too harsh on my skin, like some can be. The glycolic acid also helps to exfoliate your skin, and prevent flakiness from the retinol.

While the name makes it feel like you found it at a grocery store, don't be fooled - it's a great product and works wonderfully. One of us in the house has very, very sensitive skin and she's had no issues with this product. I, on the other hand, do not have sensitive skin and it's been great for me, as well. It's very hydrating and soothing, and leaves your skin feeling wonderful afterwards.

This serum was non-sticky and lightweight. It absorbed quickly and was comfortable on my skin.
