I ordered the set with the strawberry lip scrub (0.52 oz) and the cherry lip serum (0.35 oz). The lip scrub has a faint, pleasant strawberry scent. It is full of sugar granules, fun to use, and exfoliates well. The lip serum goes on like a gloss, and I love that it is not sticky. It has a reddish-pink tint that does not add much color to my lips. However, since I wear products like this at night for maximum hydration, I'm not particularly concerned with the color. Also, it's worth noting that I did not detect a strong scent from the serum.In reference to being "made with cruelty-free and clean beauty ingredients," I think "with" is the key word in this phrase. There are some well-regarded, clean ingredients in these products, but the lip serum and lip scrub both contain some iffy ingredients as well. For example, mineral oil, synthetic polymers, and synthetic dyes.I'm similarly confused about the claim that "this lip care duo nourishes your lips without . . . artificial fragrances." Both products contain "parfum (fragrance)" which most commonly is of synthetic origin.There also seem to be a couple of errors in the product description. The first bullet point states the lip scrub is 0.62 ounces, but the package and jar I received both indicate the amount is 0.52 ounces. Either way, the current price of $12.99 is a good value for this set. However, the bigger concern is that the description gives USA as the country of origin while the items I received explicitly state they were made in China.At the end of the day, this isn't a bad lip serum or lip scrub. Sensitivity varies from person to person, and while I have not experienced any irritation from these products, those with sensitive skin like mine should definitely examine the ingredients prior to ordering this set. In my opinion, the claims about clean beauty are a bit overstated, but these products are acceptable for the price.
